quick question would installing 370 injectors make me loose mpgs

IF you can keep your foot out of it your mileage should be better. It will probably be worse because 370 injectors make your right foot heavier. :-laf :-laf

Looking at my truck signature, what else might I need to do to my truck if I put 370's in? Different delivery valves?

DVs might help. I don't know for sure because a 160 pump can only deliver so much fuel. All I have seen on here is "seat of the pants" testimony. I would like to see some dyno numbers about the effect of just changing DVs on a 160 pump. My truck pulls my 32' TT very well so I think it has enough power to do what I want. I pass a lot of trucks pulling about what I have or a little less. I need to do a little work to reduce EGT on long uphill pulls. Maybe a bigger turbo housing or a 4" exhaust.

On a 160 pump you may or may not need delivery valves to help with the 370's, some 160's can run the 370's ok. Install the injectors and if it stumbles you can try bumping the timing and/or delivery valves.



IMHO when going to 370's, even if you can keep your foot out of it, you will suffer a little hit in MPG's especially around town.

My mileage went up with all my current mods. The 370s helped the most. Overall I gained 1. 5-2mpg. Putting the flatbed on though, knocked it back to where it was before I BOMBed the truck. Oh well. About doubling my hp with the same mileage as stock ain't to shabby.

I actually get alil better mileage on the highway (best I have seen is 20. 9 @ 65 mph). Around town its 15 at best. And towing around 10.



My next mods well probably be a bigger turbo, DVs, and water/meth injection.
