The BD, PW, etc, injectors are Bosch injectors, from I believe an industrial or marine app. About two months ago, Bosch doubled the price of them, making them basically too expensive for the gain. Lots of guys tow with them, and have had no problems with them. Many noticed a gain in MPGs as well. I have a set of EDMs, and am quite happy with them, though I have yet to do any towing with them. I think I am one of the first to put them in a non intercooled pickup.

Welcome to the TDR. FIrst thing you need to do is make yourself a signature- go to the user control panel, and click on edit profile. THat way, we can just look at your sig, and not have to ask what year truck you have, and if it is a stick or auto, 3. 54/ 4. 10, etc.

I had the BD 40 hp. injectors they were nice. I sold them to a guy with a first gen engine in a chevy,He loves them he pulls a super stock pulling tractor with all the wieghts with his chevy and dosnt seem to have any problems. I then went with the BD xxx injectors (Delphi injectors) i noticed a noticable increase in power went from 28 lbs of boost to 36 lbs. They do smoke a great deal more though.

I'll be installing a set of Bully Dog 50 hp soon... hopefully this weekend. I'll let you know how they work out for me... .

But I have a non-intercooled 91 and I don't tow anything, so my report may not mean much to you... but I'm gonna tell ya anyway!!

:D

Jay,

Let me know how they turn out. I'm curious. I got another set of EDMs- they just showed up on the doorstep one day. :D I put them in, and they are a LOT nicer than the first set I had. Not quite the fuel the "old" ones had; nice boost over stock. Boost gauge pegs out at about 38-39 psi now. I also intsalled a ported manifold and ported the exh housing as much as I could. Cant tell any reliable changes in performance- it was 70 over the wknd; got up to 30 the last 3 days. MPGs seem much better, though. Got 18. 5 on first tank, hotrodding, and smoking up a storm. :D I bumped the timing up a hair (ARRGGGHH- still dont have the dial indicator set up), and the smoke cleared up. I'll post a thread on them after a tank or two. I would recommend them, even if they are a bit pricey.
