Injectors?

Just wondering how large of injectors everyone is running and how big are available as of now?

100hp is about the limit with injectors currently. Stacked with a 65hp rail pressure box, we we see like 185+hp gain. Any more currently seems to have fuel pressue ramafications.

Keith I was having a fuel pressure discussion about the 3rd Gens and the thought is once you've maxed horsepower with injectors and a box, and assuming you have adequate fuel supply to the HP pump, then the limitation is now with the HP pump, line to the fuel rail or the fuel rail itself. With the high pressures required for operation and performance of this system, the demand is very very high to maintain that pressure while at the same time delivering the needed volume of fuel. When you reach the system's limitations pressure will drop and therefore you cannot gain any more HP. Just like the VP44 or anything else every injection pump has its limits.

True, that's why ~500rwhp is about the limit currently.

As the envelope is pushed I imagine someone will figure out how to modify the CP3 (or whatever the new pump is called) for greater volume output.

i ordered a set of approx. 200hp from schieds today. my tst box should be here anytime. that should be a pretty good combo i think or atleast hope.
