injectors

I was wondering if these third gen. trucks are able to take bigger injectors without having a box on them first? i know the sec. gens couldnt.

I think the main reason you need a box is that boost pressure will set the check engine light off with larger injectors. I had my DD2s in with stock turbo for a week or two and it would exceed the wastegated boost amount just running on the injectors.
