I helped install a set and didn't think it was that much more difficult. The hardest challenge is popping them out once everything is undone 'cause there isn't a place to pry on them or install a bolt in the end to grab on to.
Removing and reinstalling the exhaust rocker is a piece of cake.
I would suggest removing the lower valve cover girdle, it's easy to do, and you can get at things easier.
Lastly I stress the importance of CORRECTLY torquing the fuel line fittings, and make sure you close the hood and stand clear when you do the initial fireup, incase there are any fuel leaks. After running it a couple minutes stop the engine and check for leaks around the lines.
When you do the initial fireup she'll make lots of white smoke which takes a couple minutes to clear. I assume this is due to air that gets in the rail and lines during installation which has to work its way out.
