Inline Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapter - Any Reason This Won't Work?

Hey guys - I've got the AirDog on now and need to hook it up to my FP gauge. I'd like to use a barbed adapter like the one below and just screw my existing FP gauge hose on/into the port.



Do you see any reason why I couldn't just cut my line into where I wanted to and install this fitting with a couple of hose clamps? Would it be prone to leaking?



The AirDog has 1/2" ID fuel lines and this is a 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/8" (gauge port) adapter that is specifically made for FP gauges.



Any thoughts?

should work just fine. just remember to clamp it of course.

I would coat the male fittings on your grease gun hose on both ends with Hi-Tack or some other suitable thread sealant.
