Inside cab filter

Does anyone know if there is a filter inside the cab. I heard a sales person say that there is a filter that filters all the air that comes inside the truck. If true how do you change it and how often.

I don't think so. I have never heard of that anyway... I think it may have come up on the board before now.



If I am wrong, I either don't have one or it is not working.

almost all new cars have these now. im not sure if our dodges do yet, but they will soon. they are said to be the savior of the evaporator. im not complaining.

Check out Geno's Garage... they had them for 2nd Gens and may have them for 3rd Gens now

No, our trucks do not come with any interior air filtration from the factory, which is lame and disappointing, since my last vehicle, a $20k Volkswagen had it. Genos sells a cab-fresh filter kit for 2nd gens and recently added a 3rd gen kit. I'd be interested to hear, and was going to make a separate post , if anyone's gotten this kit and their thoughts. I think I'll post now.

My wife feels it would be more appropriate if Dodge filtered the air exiting our trucks... . maybe she has a point? :-laf
