I need my truck inspected by the end of this month:eek: so now the 29 I start working on it:rolleyes: Got a whole buch of rear brake stuff hoping the abs lights would go off, nope:( how do I reset it??

What else could it be? I've done shoes anfd adjusted them do I need a new RWAL valve???

Behind the glovebox, mounted to the inside of the firewall, there is a box with about 6-8 wires connected to it thru a connector. disconnect the connector for a minute or two, reconnect, and the ABS loght SHOULD go out - unless your problem is serious enough to just set the fault again immediately...

THEN, you can unplug the ABS sensor wheel at the top of the differential, install an 1800 ohm resistor across the wire harness to "fool" the 'puter into thinking everything is OK, and THAT may stop the warning light from coming on - but you do ALL this at YOUR OWN RISK!

pay no attention to risks:D thank you I'll leave it undone over night should do it. now the park light is still on have to play with the cables in the morning i guess.

thanks a bunch I'll keep you updated:cool:

For what it's worth, I noticed that when I lightly shake my emergency brake pedal side to side that the light flickers. I haven't had a chance to get under the dash to look for loose connections yet, but I thought I'd throw that out there...

I'll check it out. thank you. I noticed that the release lever was over in front of the rubber stopper. The lever was loose and I think she shifyted when I tightened it down.
