Hddriver...
For now, the sound of your turbo might seem a little much... I thought mine would annoy me after a while at first, but you soon forget about it and don't listen to it/hear it anymore.
As far as my gauges go... I LOVE THEM.

I can't believe they don't make this an option stock, cause it's sooooo cool to watch exactly what your engine is doing at all times. I did all the installs myself, and have probably spent about $400 on gauges now (with triple pillar mount). I think they look sweet, as do all my friends. Hardest one to install was definitely the pyrometer, and that was only cause I really took my time in drilling the hole for it.
As far as my transmission goes... if you look just below this post you'll see mine about driving a '99 CTD the other day that had a stock transmission... lets just say that I will NEVER AGAIN drive a Dodge that has a stock transmission... what a slushy, slow, smooth shifting pile!!! I guess I never really noticed it after I got it done, but after getting out of that '99 and back in mine, it's just awesome! Yes, the shifts are firm and sometimes hard under slow acceleration, but put your foot to the floor with that Comp on 5x5, and you don't feel it shift... it's sooooooo smooth and clean. I can't wait to put in DDII's or III's (unsure still) and really set my head back. Haven't been beat by a ricer yet, and don't plan on it any time soon.
Good luck with your truck, but a word of warning... once you start on the BOMBing spree, it CAN"T BE STOPPED!!!

But that's ok.
Josh.
P. S. Here's some pics of my gauges
