2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Install tips? Quadzilla XZT+

The UPS man dropped off my Quadzilla xzt+ today! Any one have any tricks? Should I grease the contacts? Thought about placing the chip and selector switch the the ashtray for easy access. Also any tunes I should download right away.

OK. Put in the quad xzt+ over the week end. Everything went together easy. All the wiring harness coneters matched right up with the data link and map sensor. I did run a 1 inch hole through the fire wall for the wiring harness. Mounted the box on the knee bolster for easy access to update tunes later on and put the selector swith in the ashtray. Over all very impressed with the quality of the product! On the 17 mile drive home from work seamed to have a little more pep on the 30 horse setting with no smoke. Will be testing out the 70 horse setting later on.

I put my toggle switch on my gauge pillar next to the bottom gauge. Easy to reach and a very easy cable run. I mounted the box in the lower kick panel. There is some foam insulation in there stock from the factory and only one screw to get to it if and when I need to access it. I didn't have to drill any holes, went through the factory hole that has the rubber plug in it (just below the master cyclindar).

Here is where I chose to mount the box. A little split loom may be in order to dress it up. . Running the toggle switch to the gauge pillar is a great idea Derek. I will be checking the mileage but it may not be until next week when I fill back up again but will sure post it here.

I have been wanting to check my milage, just don't want to fork out the money to fill the truck up. I usually put 75 bucks in it when the low fuel light comes on. Lately, I don't even get 3/4 of a tank doing so. Let us know what you come up with.
