I just finished installing a PRXB PacBrake on my 6 speed 2004. 5 Ram and everything went well and the brake works great. I spent quite a few hours laboring over what brand to buy and finally settled on the PacBrake. One of the main reasons for selecting PacBrake is it is air operated instead of vacuum, which will come in handy for other purposes. Also the PRXB is not a fixed orifice brake which means it provides better braking at lower RPM's. Installation was easy. It also works with the cruise control, which some other brands do not. It took me about six hours to install, but if I had to do it again I could probably do it in four hours. The best price I got was from Pacific Clutch and Brake in Spokane WA. I bought the PRXB C44045 brake and shift lever control switch for under $1,000. 00. There was no shipping or tax, which was a nice bonus. If you are interested in buying a brake from them their phone number is 1-800-445-4696. I also called PacBrake about a couple tech questions and T. J. Colter was very knowledgable and helpful with my techie questions. I hope this helps anyone trying to decide on what brake to install. Oh yea, it sounds pretty cool too!
