Just had a DSS installed on my truck Just to see if it made a difference and WOW no wander, or pull and the truck steers like a car now very quick and smooth man what a difference

AAllen, I am glad to hear that . I just ordered my DSS from Piers on friday along with the 3rd gen track bar kit... ..... i can't wait to get them installed. The steering is really the only thing left that i don't like about my truck Nice to know it makes such a difference.

Darrin's Steering Stabilizer -- A bolt on crossmember that has a bearing to stabilize the steering gear output shaft.

Just to clarify the DSS that started this thread was installed on a third gen. Apparently there are improovments to be had with the superior steering trucks as well.

I didn't know they made the DSS for the 3rd Gen's. It made a huge difference on my 96'.

OK, which is it: www.solidsteel.biz or www.solidsteel.ca ?

A couple years ago I ordered two from the . ca. I see they are from the same town, but have different addresses and phone #'s. Pics used on both sites are identical, at least the one I compared.



Is there any difference? I really liked the one I had on my '01. This isn't going to turn into another "moron" thread is it???
