I received my DTT ValveBody Friday, as promised,(Thanks Bill K. ) and installed it today.
Everything went according to his instructions, plus help from Chris Sutton's email, and BD's color pictures from their web site. (The 'C' clip install tool is perfect!)
The difference between my stock VB and the new VB is the difference between stock ECM and my 'EZ. '
I actually got 'chirp' when the shift when from 1st to 2nd! And no more 'shudder' when shifting into 3rd at 'WOT. '
This is an awesome product! I'm very, very pleased.

Good Job Rob!, I Have one too, Gonna get Bill's TC Soon to complete the job.
See you at Brandons on the 7th.
Doug.

Question... Is there a real need to change from the stock TC when installing just Bill's VB? I plan to upgrade my transmission with both the VB and the TC, but wonder if the benefits of the TC are worth the extra money and time. I don't have any plans to bomb my truck. Thanks! Dave

ABSOLUTELY Dave! You are going to need all the help you can get moving that custom made camper that you have on your flat bed... especially with all the extra stuff (read: weight) you will inevitably bring. You should have went for a spin in my Ram or Ean's Ram at the last NW BOMBer get together you attended. I have the DTT 93% TC in my Ram, Ean has the DTT 91% TC in his. What an extreme difference over the stock TC. #ad
Heck, I saw a huge efficiency difference over the BD TC I had prior to my DTT TC. #ad
The difference in power transfer when in fluid coupling is absolutely amazing!

If you want to get together and drive my Ram, let me know, we'll work something out. #ad

Big-D, John hit the railroad spike on the head---you'll be amazed at just the vb and doubly amazed with the tc/vb combo--I installed the vb 1 week before the tc and WOW what a difference when the tc went in-it made a double huge difference--get both--chris

The VB does its job, the TC does its. It is a perfect match, that you'll find amazing, the first time you drive it. POWER! instantly, and when you need it. Just touch the pedal, and it will jump. Finally the torque gets to the rear wheels, where it should have been from the factory.

Unparalleled performance!

Robby, I posted a reply in my post and glad I read yours. I'll not soon forget that feeling like the transmission was coming apart. It was like a flashback when the police were in pursuit and the same thing happened after a big burnout in my 71 superbee 20 years ago.

Harry,
There's two special tools included,(along with a new filter and gasket) one to install the park 'c' washer and another to install the actuator spring and actuator. Both worked perfect the first time.
Bob

John, According to Rob, he may have another bomb party prior to Dyno Day in BC. If that happens I'd like to take you up on the offer to ride in your truck. If it doesn't, then may be we can get together on the 21st. Feel the 93% might be a little strong for me, but want to keep an open mind until a final decision is made. Thanks Buddy! Dave
