I installed my con o today boy that pressure plate makes the clutch pedeal feel like youre driving a honda. Had problems with finding rear drive shaft seal. My truck has the heavy duty tranfercase wich is easly identyfied by pto cover on passenger side of unit. so becarefull dont make the mistake I did pulled it out and did not have the right replacement seal ended up at the stealer took him two tries to get it right napa could not even find the right seal had no clue. also changed rear main seal went to replace rubber fuel line and found it to be made of plastic instead of rubber left in place only problem I have now is apparently the throw out bearing is making a noise. I guess I'll have to call South Bend on Monday and get a new. IT SURE DOES SUCK TO HAVE TO PULL THIS OUT AGAIN!

With 154,000 miles (supposedly) on the stock clutch, I thought the extra $$ was well worth it to go ahead and get a throw out bearing

I did put a new throw out brg and pilot brg in. Came in the kit I also replaced the rear main seal ordered it through napa. South bend clutch kits come with everything. I have either received defective part or did something wrong. I plan on calling Peter at South Bend on Monday. I'm sure he can help me out. I just don't wont to hurt any thing like the trans clutch or flywheel. Damn funny noises. Worst part is the noise comes and goes. And go figure I sold my gmc jimmy last night. Know I haven't got any spare wheels. And I needed the truck this week moving boat to the Miami boat show. :{

Called Peter today he said not to worry it will more than likely be ok. And if not he would stand behind his product. Which I had no doubt about that after Reading some of his other post on the web site. I work with alot of parts vendors every day and let me tell you Peter has a great way of treating his costumers I wish more vendor would treat there customers like people and not act as if we were telemarketers calling to silicate them. I'm not sure if Peter is the owner or an emp. But either way he needs a raise. :D Oo. Oo. :D :D
