Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Installed Frantz TP Bypass today but...

Okay all the good talk about the Frantz bypass system so I found a guy in P-Town who had one and installed it today. All went well except I installed the return hose that goes to the oil pan at the shallow front part of the pan. It's tapped in the front corner where it's flat. No leaks or noises but I noticed that the supplied directions recommend to tap the deep part of the pan about 3 inches up. Am i in trouble or what??? Everything seems good-- pressure, no leaks anywhere. Is there anything near the inside wall of the passenger side of the pan where I put my return line? Thanks in advance.

If it works I'd let it be. There shouldn't be a problem with it where it is.

YUP, should be just fine where it is, as long as it flows OK and no leaks...
