just wanted to drop a line on this turbo it runs so good good spollup i think as fast as stock egts dropped about 300 degrees witj tst on 5 and ez on level two i guess the clutch will be next as this is as high of an setting i can go without it slipping thanks for all of the good feedback on helping me decide on this turbo... ... . by the way if Koopdaddy is out their where's the downpipe i assume it's lost in shipping or you forgot to ship it.

hello my truck has a six speed and the 3. 73 rear end i have a ez an tst also anew intake pipe and air cleaner system i don't know what brand but it would be close to the same as a afe torque tube an filter system i also have cut the converter and installed a straight through muffler i have to bragg on the service from high teck turbo for their tech help on any questions i had about the product and install of it

I put on my KillerB2 with an ATS manifold and 5" exhaust ( no more Cat). I don't have the Edge box hooled up yet. I am seeing a lag at the bottom end on 2/2 and some on 3/3. I put it on 5/2 and had some better results. EGTs were still OK. High end spool up is great.

Caveman my truck was a dog on the bottom to me compared to my o2 model truck until i added the ez it really woke up the bottom on throttle response i would assume mine would seem laggy on the bottom without the ez

That's good news. I thought this might be an issue with the new turbo. The NOS is not acutally on the truck yet. I'm wondering if that's a good next step after the EZ or should I go back to water/methanol?

let us know how it holds up a few of us have had the killer b 2 and we upgraded the cartridge and then eventually went to the sledpuller 66 much better application for what i'm running overall..... a lot of issues with fluttering and surging.

for some reason i have not had any surging or flat spots in the power band one question i have is how high will the tst boost guage read mine goes to 39 pounds i was wondering if thats where the guage stops or my wastegate is set

Hey Tony, my shipping guys sent the DP in a seperate box w\ the clamp, have you gotten it yet?? If not I will check into it right away! So I take it that you like the turbo.

hey Koopdaddy i have not received but one large box and it didn't have the downpipe in it also did you have a tst on your truck with the remote that's why i had the question how high will the remote register on boost ? i have 39 pounds p. s. the turbo runs great but my wife complained some of the whine but said she would get used to it because she likes one to haul ***

OK, so I might have some problems

I don't hit 40 or close. I am not using the gauges with the TST box. I have tapped into the manifold using one of the suggested bolts. I get 30 PSI with the TST on 2/2. Now that I have the EZ it hits 33-34 on 1 with TST 2/2.

The Edge EZ box just sent me back to having high EGTs. So, no NOS, back on goes water/methanol.

I'm wondering if I should put the boost elbow from TST on the new turbo to tweak it to 40 and/or pipe the wastegate into the manifold to get a pressure reading from the engine.

I get about 30 psi on 2:2 as well. It doesn't hit 40 until I get the TST up around 5. Never tried it with an EZ. I can't imagine having temp issues with the TST on 2:2, I don't drive down there much but I have to be up on 4:4 before I see 1150 pre turbo. That is pulling hard. What are you using for an intake?

-Scott

I don't get temp problems using only the TST on 2/2. Now that I have the EZ box stacked I see some temp issues at WOT. I expected to see some of this. I also expected to see 40psi.
