Installed the Kore leveling kit & sway bar drop blocks today. First off reason I just got the leveling kit was cost, what I needed & did not have the height available to raise rear much more due to garage door.

Install went smooth, helps being able to due it at work on a lift & air tools. Helps also when you have a second hand. Finished it up in around 2 hours. My height increase was around 2 inches. My front shocks were very tired also since truck has 150k on it. Sway bar drop blocks look to nice to have under the truck.

Overall impression is truck looks great at this height. On the test drive was even more pleased. Truck drives straight, handles way better & frontend feels stable/controlled. Just need to adjust my air pressure down a little & get some 5100's for the rear. Oh yeah and a new steering stabilizer & 03 17 inch alloys with some E-rated 33's.

looks awesome,

How did you support the axle on the lift? Can't wait to install mine

I graduated UW in 2000, how is madtown these days?

I used a transmission jack to raise/lower the axle as needed. Madison is still a good city but damn is the traffic starting to really suck when traveling West to East or vise versa.

Looks great.

I have the leveling kit and will be installing the drop blocks this weekend. The blocks look great. Love the stainless hardware.

How tall are the sway bar blocks? I look at there website and it said there only for 03 and up trucks and $100. I know billit isn't cheap but $100! If I could get the measurement I'm going to experiment and try making some.

Thanks

Ekohl - congrats on your install - it looks great. When you do the rear, GET THE MINI PAKS!! The shocks are only part of the improvement you're feeling. I can't tell you how nice the rear of my truck is now over bumps, when before it was always the worst part. Believe it or not, the rear of my truck is actually softer over bumps than the front is now - even empty.
