After the muffler was installed, the truck seemed to have to relearn. I noticed a few times where the truck would not seem to accellerate as quickly as anticipated although it could have been my imagination. After about 200 miles, the situation with power seems to me much improved amd better than stock.



Mileage is up from 13. 9 to 16. 0 but I need to see if this survives longer than one tank. We seem to have a wide variety of cetane from station to station here...



What have others seen in mileage increases?
 
Hey I have a couple of questions how many miles do you have on it so far because I did a 3mpg jump when i did my aeroturbine but I was also comming up on 10k which is when they say you are going to get a jump. I did notice a quicker turbo spool and ALOT more exhaust sound. No problems or nothing like you described. I enjoy it!!!

Which muffler did you put on? An AFE or MBRP?

I have a 4:10 so I might not get the same ratio of increase... I love it so far!
 
Hey you need to get that thing out and drive it!! get some miles on it!!! as for the 4. 10 your overdrive in your auto should compensate for the rear end and drop your Rpms back down. I have also noticed from your signiture your pullining a good size 5th wheel what do you think of that muffler when your pullin?? I think it would give off a roar big time because I have good sound and thats empty who knows with a good size load sounds like!
