Installed Passenger Grab-handle

Well gang:

As you all know, DC eliminated the grab handle over the passenger side seat. Well, the part is $37 at dealer, but is on national back order. Went by a junkyard Satureday and got one out of a wrecked 96 truck for $5. 25.

My wife really likes the darned thing. One of my easier upgrades.

I added one on the driver's side too. Apparently Chrysler put the mounts on both sides... It comes in kind of handy sometimes its in just the right place.

Mine had one on the headliner. I found one at the junkyard ffor the A pillar. Got 2 "oh my god" handles for the passenger now. :D

Hey Wiredawg

Did you notice if that 96 had the overload springs on it?

And in that vein I wonder if there is a website for junkyard parts?

I want those springs but I wont pay the dealer for them.

TIA,

Jay

That's what it's all about... the more shes happy, the more accessories on the punch list. with Christmas coming soon, I'll be needing to find a nice toolbox/aux fuel tank.
