All I can say is WOW!! I am really happy. I had been running the factory system with the muffler removed. Install was very easy. Even got the wife out helping me do it. Know I married the right woman when not only does she let me bomb, but she helps. Anyway, got it all installed and also put on a stailess steel tip. it is a monster 6x24. when I got it and was looking at it I was thinking man that thing is way too huge to look right under the truck. What I did was to cut off the final angle of the exhaust system and then use the extension so that it points out at about a 45 degree angle under the passenger tailight. Looks awesome in my opnion. I will try and get some pics up soon. Love the sound too. I actually decreased the in the cab noise but I think alot of that has to do with the fact tht in taking off the old system I found that the bolts that hold the downpipe to the back of the exhaust brake were loose and there was a gap so it was obviously making it quite a bit louder in the cab. I guess because it must have been getting worse over time I just got used to it. Anyway, we drove about a 100 miles round trip today and cruising down the interstate I found it easy to carry on conversations with my wife and had to have the stereo only about half as loud as before (again I realize that the old setup had to have been loose. ).

Best part was cruising by a kid driving a little Dodge Neon with one of those lawnmower kits on his car and about a 3 inch tip on the end of his exhaust. I was watching and could see him checking out the huge tip sticking out from the back of my truck, and pointing it out to the girl riding with him. Do you think she was wondering if size matters? :-laf

Anyway, Kudos' to Rip, you have another satisfied customer.

Welcome to the club :) Im definitly glad i went with it . After researching and reading post on different systems i saw a lot of happy campers with this system so i was sold. I always get werd looks from poeple i think there expecting to se an 18 wheeler when they hear it coming then realize its my pickup and get confused :-laf I still can,t resist rolling down my passenger side window so i can hear it better

I have Rips 4" with no muffler. All the men in my neighborhood think its killer, the wives ignore me. . LOL!!!
