How long a ride is it from Long Island to you Cliff? I ve only been straight thru NJ (is that 80 or 87... I think it was 80) to the Pocconos. Otherwise Im clueless on where Im goin.

WOW, whered u find that pic?nice clean look, no clamps and bolts. is any1 running the angle cut stacks? i have the turnouts but think the truck would look better with the western stacks. let me know the pros and cons. i know rain and snow down the stacks is a biggie, but the "bigger" rigs run them.

Got smoke, I actually fabbed that pipe myself. The entire system is 5", so I bought a 5" Tee, (2) 90* elbows, and some 5" exhaust pipe and tigged the whole thing together, then used a buffing wheel to take out most of the weld marks. Turned out better than I had expected! I can build more, but shipping might be a hassle.

it is amazing what you can do with the right tools. if my wife would let me it would be cutting and welding my own stacks as we speak. what we need to build is a set up that will easily convert back to a oem style pipe. this way you could change the look every now and then. i cant get into parking garges with stacks oh well. :--)

Chris I think it's about a 5 hour ride for you. I am just off rt. 30 between Lancaster and York. Look for Columbia on a map and rt 441 Iam about 1 mile off of rt 30

Drive down on a Saturday and stay the night then drive home on Sunday we have room. Call when you have all the parts I got the 4" straight flared today so I have it.

What would parts cost for stacks? Approx. is fine. I already have the 2 stainless parts of it (see pic with circle,This is the parts I already have also this set up is close to what I want) Thanks!

going off my parts list that is over a year old now it would be around $300 to finish the job.

I can not believe we got dissed like that Scott. I mean you would think that Mr. Mph himself would have at least invited the 2 of us to his stacks-a-building party since we are so close to him. See if I keep his home address away from the M-D TDR wives the next time they are a hunting him down.
