I really want to hear how well your ATS holds up to the box, as I'm planning on both myself in the future.

Should be interesting! I'll be doing some towing with it this weekend, so I'll keep you all posted.

By the way - I picked up the TST from these guys -

I think it will hold up to it just fine. My transmission has all the bells and whistles - the 300m chrome moly input shaft, etc. ;)

Just got mine today. I saw it sittin' on the doorstep when I got home from work tonight. I've been pulling a drag harrow thru the hay fields everyday. Only go about 20 mph in 2nd gear, transmission temp gets up to about 180 degrees, and pyro is 600 degrees. Oh mileage is about 10 mi. per gal. I'll put the PMCR on tonight, and let you guys know how she does ;) . I'll also getter dyno'd tomorrow.

So, did you feel the extra 150 hp and 500 lbs of torque?

here is a qoute from their website

"The power is gained by adjusting pulse duration and advancing timing with stock exhaust, turbos, and air filter. "

Notice the word turbo's is plural (as in twins). Now i am not saying its anything more than a spelling mistake, but thats probably the only way to get those inflated power levels they are claiming because stock exhaust, turbo's and air filter sure in hell isn't going to do it

Scotty, do you plan to start at 9x9 and work your way down like Pirate, or do like a sane man and work up from 1x1? :p

Uh... , well Vaughn... OK, I admit it, I pussed out and just put it on 4/4. I'm afraid:{ I'll smoke the clutch if I go to 5/5 although the instructions say I can. I talked to Mark at TST and he said I could probably go to 5/6 though.

Whats the highest any body has turned it up with a stock clutch w/o slipping?

Hmm, maybe someone could start a clutch fund for a needy bomber? You know, in the name of research so I can find out what these things can do!

I did find out it will brutalize a ferd excursion on 4/4.

I had an ATS trans with all the options on my 98. 5 and I had BD comp box which added 330 ft. lb. when set on 5/5 and I seemed to always be set there just so I could smoke the tires and anyone else around me and the ATS held up great. I have since sold truck to good friend and he is still goin strong towing 13000lb 5er with foot pushin hard and no problems there

Nice.

When are you going to dyno it?

Hopefully soon...

My rock crawling team mate has a '03 PSD 6. 0 with an Edge, etc. and that thing is freakin' fast. I'm hoping I can keep up with my ole CA-SO now. We'll find out this weekend, if I don't melt the turbo down. ;)

I didn't see the TST box on the website you listed, but then again I am computer challenged...

So who is offering the best price on the TST???

Thanks again,

Dave

By it straight from TST, if they aren't still on backorder.

TST Products
