I am installing my Autometer guages that I recieved today. We are planning to do it this weekend and was wondering if you guys have any advice. this is my first time and I am not the most expierienced in this sort of stuff. My friend that owns a powerstroke is giving me a hand, and he seems to think that taping the whole that you drill is going to be hard. He thinks this because it is tapered. I have looked at the directions that came with the guages and at TST. It does not seem that hard. Please help. I am installing a boost guage as well, and all of these will go in a full pillar mount. I am also advancing my timing this weekend. It is going to be a good weekend.

If yall got any advice please offer it.

Thanks

Russ

The NPT tap is tapered, just take your time and don't tap too deep. Other than that it just somewhat time consuming, running the leads and such. Use anti-seize on the threads for the pyro probe. Take your time and don't rush anything. Double check all connections and you should be good to go.
