Installing Cruise control

Can this be done? My local dealer says no way, no how! I don't buy this. Any help on doing this?

Make sure you pick one with an electric actuator. I had the vacuum actuator on my 89, and the Cummins vacuum pump was so strong that the cruise control would not release!!!
