I got my pdr HX35 today and am wanting to put it on asap. I'm waiting for the ASA intake kit I ordered to get around getting a new intake hose from the air box. Now I have some more questions. The outlet for the intake side is different than the intake manifold. The manifold is 1/2" smaller than that on the 35. What can I do there? Also I need to rotate the oil lines (its upside down right now) whats the best way to do that? I'll probally have more question later. tia, alonzo

You need to clock the turbo.

You can do this by using a set of vise grips or water pump pliers and clamp down on the C-ring on back side of compressor side of turbo, rotate compressor until the inlet for oil is on top and oil drain is on bottom. Just watch you don't let the C- ring pop out of the housing as you clock the turbo.

As far as the compressor elbow, you will have to buy one somewhere.

thanks for the turbo clocking info. Any ideas where to get a compressor elbow. I'm going to talk with the local truck shop in town tomorrow, see if they can help me out. thanks, alonzo

Alonzo,

You are just plain gonna luv the PDR HX35. You can run the 16 or 14NW on it and still have good results.

I would think you can find an elbow at any auto wrecker that has the later CTD's in the yard.

Bob.
