Installing Pyro...how big a drill bit?

Going to install Pyro and boost gauges this afternoon. Need to drill a hole for a 1/4" NPT fitting that will be threaded. What size drill bit do I need? My memory is failing me, couldn't remember this or where I got the instructions before. Anyone remember which site had the excellent installation instructions?

7/16" drill bit is required for a 1/4" NPT taps. You will need a 1/2" drill chuck to accept a 7/16" bit. Most tool places sell the tap and drill bit combo packages.

Check the drill bit against the tap before you drill. We received some drill bits last week that were mis-labeled.

You can get a 7/16 bit with a 3/8 shank so you don't have to use a 1/2 drill.

Thanks guys, got the instructions off of the DIS site. Had all the tools needed from when I installed them last year in the "99. "

Boost appears to be 21. 5psi @ WOT.

Pre-turbo temps appear to be 500 - 600 degrees running 60 - 65 mph.

Mission accomplished, n\tomorrow the 5th wheel plate.
