Hey guys, looking at a few trucks to get into my first CTD. Most 2500 were not optioned with the amber roof lights. Does the dealer sell the set (anyone know the price, with dc im sure its gonna be :--) expensive) Are these hard to install, other than cutting holes in the roof? is there already a power plug in the roof to plug the lights into?

thanks

I put them on a buddy's truck. Got the lights from Jc Whitney very cheap. I think they were like $45 sent to the house. There are holes in the second layer of the roof (bottom) when you take down the headliner. Measure and drill a hole in the center to pull your wires down. Take good measurements and then use some different self tapers than the ones provided and screw the light down. I found the wiring harness up in the roof but I couldn't find power with the parking lights on so I tapped into the parking light wire out of the headlight switch. It is an easy thing to do just take your time and measure multiple times and step back and look. Hope I have helped. You can PM me if you have any other questions.
