I'm installing the brakesmart on my 2004. 5 3500 do I need to know anything that is'nt in the instruction's?, and do I have to use the extra brake line that is in the kit or can I just attach the pressure switch directly to the T and be done with it?.

The instructions are good as are the pictures on Ken's site. Pretty much plug and play. I used the short piece of brake line because the transducer wouldn't clear the brake fluid reservoir. If yours clears OK then it can be attached to the tee.

A couple of thoughts based on my installation last week.

#1) Make sure you use a tubing wrench to remove the brake line fitting from the master cylinder as the fitting is very tight.

#2) My blue "tow package" wire harness connector was hard to find. It's located up and to the driver's side near the firewall and is taped in place with black electrical tape.

Instructions are good and the installation is not difficult.

Oo. :D Mission accomplished of the brakesmart installation and it was as easy has I had been told. The bigest problem I had was finding someone to help bleed the brakes. I am very satisified with the unit and it's operating features along with it's ease of use. I would say worth every cent spent. :D
