Instrument Cluster Self Test ? Code?

I did the instrument self test/ calibration thing a ma jig last night and discovered something. This is where you push the odometer button in and then turn the key on. When all the needles stop moving the digital display Reads C-Code then says 23 12. Now I did this a second time it read 23 13. So I saw a pattern and did it again and what do you know it read 23 14. What is this?

I don't know what the 23 means. Maybe someone else will chime in. In my opinion, if the instrument cluster is working ok... who cares?



The second number tells how many times the key has been turned to the run position since the code was set. That's why you saw it counting up each time you did the check.

I found that on mine last night to. It also said 23 46 and than said 00 00?

Thanks for the info. We still have to figure out what the 23 is though. Anybody?
