Last week i had the pleasure to drive a 03 , 3500. I fell in love with the White Display of the Instrument Panel. I wondered if we have anyone out there that could tell me if they could be inter changed???Thanks... .

Anything could be done. The bad part is how much do you want to spend.

You would need the spec's for both sets of gages. If any of the impedance would be different then you would not be able to use the computer our trucks use.

Something you might check into is having a gage shop repaint the faces of the gages you have. There are shops that specialize in gage restoration. They could repaint and renumber you gages to what ever color you wanted.

Do a google search on gauge restoration. You will find a few places to talk to.

Here is just one place.

Instrument Gage Paint

Philip, Thank you so much. I'm out here in Kansas and as of now i don't know anyone in this state who does that but, I'll look around. Anyone got any other Ideas??

Radar,

Your sig says you have a 99 truck, if so you would be better off posting in the correct years forum, I know the gauges from a 2003 wouldn't fit in a first gen without major modifications but I don't know about a 99. I do know that places like Summit sell new gauge backing plates in white for some vehicles and you could see if they are available for a 99.

Also there are places that rebuild gauges(maybe look in some street rod magazines) that could possibly do this for you.

Hope this helps,

Caleb
