I bought my 1995 Dodge new, never used it for commuting, or daily use, just to tow the boat and tote a camper.
So as result of keeping it in a garage always, and not driving it much over the years it is in pretty nice condition. I have been offered $12,000 for it some years ago. Anyone know where I can buy insurance for a declared value?
I tried the specially companies, like Hagerty, but they have hard restrictions on use. I still want to tow the boat and tote the camper, but with
them, that's a big no no.
Any one have any suggestions?

Commercial insurance is about the only place I have found that will let you do declared value. I would have to fight "betterment" due to engine replacement cost that is 75% the book value of the truck. Everyone else wants to save 15% or more on a claims payout and do not want to write a fixed value.
