Intake Butterfly Valve

I haven't been able to remove screws to take valve out. I hope I haven't damaged them. I assume they're torx heads. Does anybody know what size? Is their a trick to make it easier to get them out?

Not hardly! I was referring to valve in the intake horn. I found a solution, though.

he's referring to the butterfly for the EGR. it closes so the egr gases go instead of the clean air.

no, it's still the intake butterfly, the "egr" one is also there on the EGR.

It is in the intake, but it's sole purpose is to create a low pressure area so EGR can be drawn into the intake stream.

In the op's cse he probably added a programmer that requires the "plate" to be removed rather than just conrollingit
