There's a picture in the thread titled "Glow Pugs" Its the little right angle plastic bracket with two studs in it for the wires from the relays(its on the side of the intake heater. I posted about mine being messed up in that thread also. Well I called West Carolina Freightliner (Cummins dist) and I told them some parts numbers I thought was it and they said they didn't carry it. I don't know where else to fing them, and I really `need one. Was wondering if anybody knows where to get one. I think i might have heard somewhere about some kind of junkyard or something in S. C. ?

Does anyone know about this??

Thanks alot, Steve

To make a link. Go into the address bar. Left click one time. Then ight click copy. Then go into the field of the message and right click paste. That sould get it done for you.

I think you wre the one asking about the angle bracket weren't you. I posted a pic's if I remember right.

Thanks!

Is that number (4429417) a dodge part # ?? if it is I might go to the stealer today and order it. Philip I noticed that your truck is a 93, mines a 91 and it has some injector lins running underneath that bracket. Is that number correct for mine??

If you take the 4428102 number your dealer can order it. Have the run to make sure the number is right. The parts guy I deal with is good. He hasn't missed any number for me yet.

The thing about a used terminal like this is. Most junkyards will not take parts off of a complete engine that is good. So if they have one. They might not sell it for that reason.

I would just go to the dealer and pick one up there.

Good news

Oo. Thanks Philip I just took mine off. It was pretty easy just a little tight around the inj lines. The number was different though, it was 3914417. I called the stealer and they can get them for about 27. 50. I'm good now.

Thanks, Steve

Well I ordered the part, it should be here by Tues-wed. I guess I'll have to tape up the wires from the heater relays so I can drive it. I'll just have to keep it plugged up.

oh yeah, I tested the resistance on the intake heater and It was next to nil, which is goooooood. (i think)

Dealer games. agin. The dealer I go with has a truck delivery every day. I wish all dealers did that. My local one is like the one you went to once a week if you are lucky.

Pluged in. Mine wouldn't know how to act. I have never plugged it in.

Hey Philip,

You oughta try plugging it in, I plug mine in when it is less than 35-40 degrees. yesterday I had it plugged in for a while(just because the intake heater's out for a while) and when I went to take that bracket off I could feel a little bit of heat coming off the valve covers and they were warm to the touch. The block heater makes a world of difference in cold weather starts(to me). It is probably colder in Indiana than it is here anyhow, it's 50 deg now.

Steve:cool:

I have to play with the throttle a little while (less than a minute) when it goes below 0. But most of the time. Hit the key and walk off.

I'll be rigging a fast idle system up next week when the parts I ordered come in. (That is if I can modify them enough) I'll post when I get everything up and the parts I used to do it.
