I understand the is a thread out here that diagrams a method of disconnecting the intake heater coils. Would like it to be automatic, and simple to install.

Any help would be apprectiated.

If you look below the PDC and left battery you will see the control relays. The 2 small push on wires on the front of the realy set can be simply pulled off. Now, why would you want to unplug them? It is cold enough in Ohio to need them. They aid cold starts and reduce smoke at startup and smooth out cold engine operation. They quit when you drive away. What's not to like?

They work fine, however they also cycle long after the engine starts. Hard on charging system, and batteries.

Also don't want to spend $90. on a kit that I think I can duplicate for a few bucks!
