Intake heater grid

Any of you guys removed the heater grid from the intake area? Did ya notice any difference? It isn't needed in many areas at least this time of year so I was thinking about doing it. It would have to help air flow.

If you have seen one in person you would take it out. Ole Poole makes a spacer block . Probably more noticable with performance stuff such as air intake , larger intercooler , high ram intake, it's deffinently a bottleneck
