A couple days ago it got down to 12 below 0. Well I cycled the heaters twice before I started the truck. I got it started. The Heaters came on right away after the truck started. Then went off. The heaters never cycled after that.
So I shut the engine off and restarted it and the heaters cycled normal now.
Last time I had problems with the heaters my batteries were going bad. I thinking that I'm draining them pretty good at start up.
I cleaned the posts & cables ends this fall. The batteries were replaced a few years ago. The batteries are smaller in size than the stock batteries. I don't think there is enough reserve power to light up the heaters?
The truck starts up and heaters cycle fine when its above 0 degrees.
