Intake Noise in cab

I know there are alot of threads about cold air intakes but I have sort of a diffrent question. I had a 02 with a S&B on it and I just wondering if the new trucks have as much noise in the cab with an intake or if the cabs have been sound proofed more? There very few 6. 7's around my area right know and I haven't seen any of them with an intake on them yet. You would think they would sound like a six liter ford with a VG turbo??

I assume you are talking about an air intake. I did the homemade intake from Lowe's and cannot tell the difference in noise levels. According to an article in TDR, the cold air intake on stock engines will increase the hp by about 3. This was about the best setup you could do for a stock engine.
