I am getting ready to install a new turbo on my 12 valve and may install a governor kit soon too. I already have the 60# exhaust springs, but want to upgrade my intake springs too. Will the same springs work or is there a special spring for the intake? Where would be a good place to order them? It's a topic for another thread, but I had a pushrod break a couple of months ago and need new pushrods too, which is why I'm going to change the springs now. Any help would be much apprediated.

Actually, I found a set of take-out pushrods on e-bay. Do you think it would be worth putting used pushrods in or should I just buy new ones? I think I saw that new ones are around $12 each. I can buy the whole used set for just about the price of one new one.

The intake and exhaust valve springs are the same, so the 60# ones will work on the intake valves. If your are doing the 3k gsk the 60's are really not necessary. If doing the 4k gsk it necessary. Shadrach

i would by new pushrods. not a good idea in my opinion to use used ones. i got my new ones when i bent one for around 4. 00 per rod. that was new from cummins. well actually country ford. they are the cummins dealer near by
