I was vacationing in Montana and ran into a Ford Expedition that had trick front mud flaps that had an integrated fender flare that extended about halfway up the wheel well.
The owner advised me it was a Ford deal option.
I love fender flares but will never install them again: winter salt accumulates and hastens rust deterioration in the fender.
Basically, these were just large flaps that extended past the fender edge by about 3" and this extension continued on up through the back half of the wheel well.
I've been beating my head trying to find some of these. Any one have any experience?
Here is the only similar example I could find:
FLARE MUD FLAPS
I just wish the actual flap in this example was bigger and lower and I would only run the flare about halfway up the wheel well.
