Whats everyone useing for Intercooler Boots? Stock or Aftermarket?Mine are very soft, most boost I've seen is 38-40,I've put about 30psi (shop air)to them and they ballon up preaty good! Towing seasons coming so I figured I'd get them now. :-laf
I've also got Mr Bobs. I tow alot and have had zero problems with the boots. I don't know the psi limit of these, but I hit 52 pounds on a regular basis and the boots haven't slipped.
A tip for boots that slip what we did at CAT was use there CAT green liquid gasket (sticky but removable) clean apply install and alow it to dry or cure works great on the ACERT engines (60lb boost). 5H-2471 is the CAT # and they have diffrent size cans dep on your need. hope this helps you big # guys.
