Are any better than the other? I ordered a set from PDR and they're on backorder. Geno's has a set thats a little cheaper and have them in stock. I can't wait too much longer since i need the truck to haul stuff up north soon. Are the PDR better should i wait??

Give Rip a call at: Source Automotive. He's got some of the best that I've seen.

Call , Bryan at Diesel Power Products (DPP), He has a very nice set available in three different colors, black, blue, red.

I purchased mine from him w/cbh under 2 bills, no shipping charge.

Genos sells the BD hoses... . they are sweet! I installed mine in 45min. because the fit was perfect..... I'd go with BD. If your boots aren't torn... . just take them off & spray hairspray on the mounting surfaces & double nut all of your clamps to get you by until you recieve the new boots. I did this to my stockers & they held 55psi great.

I have the BD set as well. I'm not really modded at all yet, but had to replace mine because the 2 hoses at the cooler were rubbing thru against the inner fenders. I was gonna go with stockers, but it woulda cost me more to get just the 2 hoses I needed from the dealer than it cost me to get the whole BD hose and clamp kit. I think the hoses are of good quality, but i'm not to impressed with the clamps. They just look cheesy compared to the clamps I see on some of the big rigs that come thru our shop.

Well PDR finally shipped my boots so I guess I get to try out theres. Anyone have any experience with them? fit / finish??

cool site, but they don't mention how much pressure any of the hoses will take. Looks like they have most of the hoses a person would need for their truck but wouldn't know till you mesured. Anyone prevoiusly measured any of the boots?

Burst pressures depend on the size of silicone turbo hose/sleeve or elbow. burst pressure for 3 inch id: 3 ply 75 psig 4 ply 90 psig 6 ply 150 psi

I cleaned mine up with degreaser and hairsprayed them together.

It's holding 40psi now. I blew them at 25 previously.

Intercooler Boots

As someone mentioned we have complete sets available for 2nd and 3rd Gen's. None have blown off to date that I have been aware of. We are going to try them with twins shortly on a truck running around 80psi and see how they hold up.
