I bet it has alot to do with the fact that they know we have a hard time getting them and have to step up to keep the truck running. .

There are alot more 2nd gens out there now...

Take it from a finance major, "Price" isn't dependent on "Cost", but instead is set at what the market will pay. PB hit the nail on the head!!

Hmmmm. $450 for a new one, or $400 for a used one from the classifieds? no brainer, IMO. ANd you are dead on about supply and demand vs cost of production- look at fuel prices in the last year.



I know someone who has a used 1st Gen IC for $100..... But it aint new, so that dont count, does it?
