Intercooler warranty

Has anyone had their intercooler replaced under warranty. The warranty booklet list charge air cooler for California only. I think it could be warrantied under the noise emissions.

I have a chrysler service contract and that did not cover when my intercooler blew. Under the straight factory warranty, 3/36 it should. your truck is an 2005 so its out of warranty

I think a lot of the 05's with the plastic end caps blew and got replaced under warranty. Just keep doing your homework

Charge air cooler warranty

I just got back from the dealer today, they will not warranty my cooler even in california. I had to pay for the replacement door seals also even though the dealer admits to the failure being a design problem, it was $40 for both sides and took about 10 minutes to install. I chose to order an aftermarket cooler from high tech turbo for 1200. 00afterall the mopar part failed once and I'm not going to spend over $700 dollars plus labor to mabe have it happen again, yeah I know the new ones are differant. According to high tech turbo I will get see enhanced performance with the new cooler, can anybody affirm?

By the way my warranty expired in Feb. The truck has 32,000 on it. Looked at the new trucks while at the dealer. Not for me they are nice inside but you can't do much to them without getting caught, Dealer or EPA take your pick. The prices are low though.
