Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) intercooler $$$

Why is it that I can get an intercooler bar and plate custom made 4" core 3 1/2" in/out to fit Dodge for 1/2 what dealers want ?? Am I missing something?

How much can you get one made for? Not sure on pricing for a 2nd Gen, but the 3rd Gens are around $450 dealer price.

I was asking about aftermarket upgrade types like Banks/Spearco. they seem to run in the $1000- $1500 range yet others can be made for you near $500. ?

I doubt you'll find something the size of a Dodge IC for $500. It's a monster, size wise.

how big EXACTLY ? I can get 31x12x3" for under $200.

The 2nd gen Spearco IC core is 36 x 17 x 3. Welded aluminum tanks, factory mounts (A/C condensor and trans cooler), and comes with new polished stainless piping, hoses and clamps. Plus it all has to fit in the very tight confines of the front of the truck.

The Cool-Twist is $875 I believe. PDRs 12v 2nd gen is $845. You can get a 1st gen from PDR for $679. All others I saw were $12-1500. What do you get for $500? Shadrach
