Interest in San Diego?

Anyone living in San Diego interested in a group co-op for DSE and/or BioDiesel? Restated: Looking for others in San Diego that would like to dive into assembling a blending/filtering/processing system for mutual use. I have followed this thread and others; just looking for partner(s) to motivate me off the procrastination bench and would like to help/share the rewards.

By the way-I was at the back of a strip mall today which housed multiple greasy food establishments and saw some interesting bins containing Used Veg Oil (Master Locks and chains wrapped around them). I wish I had a camera you could have had a few chuckles.

Busy with taxes?

Well, I'm going to assume everyone in San Diego has been busy sharpening pencils and exercising their math skills on taxes this weekend; no one has responded my proposition in some days! Tomorrow-midnight is your deadline for all your creative math, then lets talk alt. fuels!



As you can tell I'm becoming very anxious. CJ Hall has been very generous with his time, experience, trials and tribulations. Maybe just you should try this I have found that people think it does not work they read one study and thats it, there small brain wont let them get pass that point.



Getting a supply of (right)oil is the first thing you need. have you found any? also you need to start putting together the filtering system and remember a place to store all of this stuff. how are you going to get the oil, are they putting in back in the carboys they got the oil in? or are they putting it in drums? time to build the unit to filter with heating the oil it all takes time to get it running right. this will be worth it but it does take time and money. it took me at least 8 months of building and rebuilding to get to the point of making it work right. the other way would just be buying a complete unit to make fuel the cost would be more but it would be faster if one justs wants to start making fuel today.



Remember this takes some time to get it right and most people all ready have made up their mind that this does not work. but it does so hang in there take your time and try to have fun doing this.
