And I will trade having to add some DEF every 4-5K miles but gives me 15,000 mile oil changes and better mileage. Compared to my 2011 which needed freaking oil change every 3-5,000 miles and got horrible mileage empty.

Speaking of DEF I was in Auto Zone yesterday and they had Peak Blue DEF for 2 for $19.95. So that you bought basically two for the price of one.

WalMart is $11.95 for DEF Blue so that would be $23.90 for two, you would save $3.95 buying two at AutoZone. That's a really good deal.

I have not been brave enough to try the truck stop DEF.
$135k and up Class 8 trucks run it on a daily basis without issue. I've been through 179.08 gallons of DEF to date on my 2014...29 fillups. 9 of those 29 fillups included a 2.5 gallon jug of DEF purchased at WalMart, Tractor Supply, Advance Auto, etc. as I was unable to source a truckstop with any pump DEF.

If there were any issues with DEF at the pump.....I'm sure I'd encountered it by now. DEF at the pump requires no bravery. :-laf

I just buy DEF wherever it is easiest and cheapest, I have no concerns about it as long as the sensor believes it is DEF. I have not dwelled on it (I may have mentioned that before). :)

How were you guys with the whole Y2K thing....pretty paranoid? :-laf

I have not issue with the DEF it's self at the truck stops it's the getting used to the actual filling. As in not getting it all over the side of the truck.

Nope, I got a 50K bonus to work on the network issues at the bank in 1999/2000! And I was onsite for the "non event"! They rented a hotel rooms near by for many of us. Never need it or used it. New Years started way ahead of the West Coast and word spread across the globe that we had it right. Y2K was not an issue because thousands of IT specialist worked hard to make sure that it was not a problem.

Snoking
