That would be pressurized/heated fuel dumping back to the tank correct? :)

Did you solve it with aftermarket injectors because Dodge 'claims' mine are fine. :-laf

I wondered about one being bad but of course Dodge said the tests said all is fine.

Steam from the fuel tank must be normal. LOL

Thanks for the post as it was once what I thought was the cause.

Its like a big pressurized leak and would or could cause the lift pump to work overtime then even if one is a dud... makes a lot of sense to me. I bet the 'burp' I get is when the injector messes up.

Scotty

your lift pump pressure would drop with engine rpm with no load like for example from 25 psi at low idle to 10 psi at 2000 rpm, or even when just down shifting and letting the rpm pick up speed with no throttle at all... . this would be a good indication of a high pressure leak... ;)

stumped again

Last Year I Started Having Problems With My Volumizer So I Went To A Quad Race Box After Sending The Volumizer Back Countless Times. Well The Quad Box Is Doing The Same Thing. volumizer Would Start Running Real Rough And Sound Like A 12 Valve While Fuel Would Leak Down The Driver Side Of The Motor, and Smoke Like Hell. the Quad Will Just Sound Like A 12 Valve And Smoke. but It Did Shut Of One Time While On The Hiway . after Unplugging The Quad It Ran Normal. this Truck Has Always Ran Good Without Any Box But You Kind Of Get Addicted To The Power. the Quad People Say It Must Be The Truck. any Info Would Be Appriciated . 2003 6spd 1ton Swb Q Cab Sw 40000 Mi 5inch Exaust Gauges Air Box Mod

I had a Quad RACE Box in my 04 they blamed my exhaust brake and gave me NO HELP their customer service needs no gravity especialy a guy named Jeramy (DAH) went with an EDGE Juice no problems They will never see me again, they should wake up!!!

tommy i ran my 2004. 5 325/600 today , it has a tst box and a 150 fass and only had 366 horsepower , dyno guy said he thought the rail was running dry or something because it pulls really hard then fall over and little black smoke but when on the highway doing 70 and you smash it all kinds of smoke and power, what is your thoughts and can i run a rail cap to fix it ans can i run it all the time ?

What level were you running and what program do you have on the TST? Also unless you did something to the transmission more than a shift kit your going to slip the converter and tear up the transmission soon. I've done it twice, now i have a full built transmission.

I know what you mean, I could not get much higher dyno #'s if any with more than the injectors and box on low cus the converter couldn't hold it or just was too slushy. Also I wasn't the one driving, and the operator doesn't know exactly how much coal you can put to your own rig before slippage occures.
