Interesting GMC Add in Magazine

I came across an interesting add about the new GMC trucks with the 345 hp gas engine trucks. The add says something about the "Power of a tornado" and how it compares it's (345hp) to the power of a twister.



It mentioned that power is the answer if you need to move anything and sited it's boarder-line torque at 385 lbs foot :-laf ... . more than the Dodge Hemi. WOW



Didn't my factory rated 1st gen have something like 160 hp and 400 lbs foot torque? How could you pull anything with only 160 hp?

That is easy Greenleaf with only 160 hp and 400 tq you just towed at less than 90 mph and you got good mileage while doing it

I am happy with my small boost in fueling, and figure I should make advances in getting power through the transmission before I make more of it :-laf

Oh yah, remember the big blocks in the 1st gens times were only like 200 hp and 350 tq



Of course it is a moot point when you only put 200 miles on your truck in 3 months :{ Used to commute 65 miles a day in it before I got my little beater civic.
