Disappointed about how your stock portfolio is looking with all the tech companies biting the big one??

I didn't do the math, and I don't know if it's true or not... but I got a chuckle out of it.

This will make your day!



If you bought $1,000 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.

If you bought $1,000 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, and traded in the cans for the nickel deposit, you would have $79.



Keep drinking that beer!

Stock market's enough to drive a man to drink, anyway. My retirement portfolio ain't looking too good. It'll go back up, though, we live in a war-driven economy. Drop a few bombs, we'll make more.

It is unfortunate that we have to resort to physical violence to solve our problems... . but it seems as though the only way to get our point across efficiently is to use our enemies' mentality against them.
