I saw one at the RV show last fall. That railling across the top was scary. I think it moved 6" when you pushed on it . Not really the best quality construction I had seen either.

They call it a "Loft" place a mattress up there and you have a bed out of the way.

not quite new, in the 70's there was a bunkhouse model with three bunks up in the back similar to this. we even considered one for our family. it even had two dinnette seating areas.
